We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist, an administrative superhero who has knowledge of Dutch employment law, and loves the People admin side generally. Besides administrative tasks, you’ll make an impact by improving the employee experience and company culture. Right up your alley?


You’ll get to work with an international team, be in contact a lot with the different team leads and make sure all operations in the People department are handled smoothly.


What does the role look like

As People Ops Specialist, you’ll support and advise the business on all aspects of HR administrative processes. You’re the go-to person for HR-related questions and requests from employees and managers. You’ll provide support for all activities and projects taking place in the People department and work closely with our leaders and the Finance team.


The Goboony employee experience is key in the People department. You actively think along about continuous (process) improvement and realize an optimal employee experience with creative ideas and contribute to the development of Goboony. You’ll think about creative ways to give our employees memorable onboarding, smooth offboarding, and ensure that our employees can be successful and enjoy to work! There is also a lot to develop and of course room for your own initiatives.


Your key responsibilities on a daily basis:

  • Taking care of the People admin (i.e. employment/freelance contracts, salary amendments, relocations, parental leaves).

  • Coordination the recruitment process to give people a fantastic candidate experience.

  • Maintaining and improving Hibob, our People Experience platform in which we keep all our employee data.

  • As our culture bearer supporting in organizing our famous camping trips and other events that nurture our culture of sharing the freedom.

  • Continuously improving our people processes (e.g. onboarding and offboarding).

Job requirements

Now let’s talk about you

  • You have at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role, and you're a wizard when it comes to (HR) administration and systems.

  • You have affinity and knowledge of Dutch labor law, and you have an understanding of payroll processes and employment contracts.

  • Organizing, restructuring, and planning is on top of your skillset.

  • You’re the proactive kind of person, you’ll always see opportunities for improvement and find ways to contribute.

  • You love working together and you crave feedback. Although you'll often work independently, there are frequent occasions when we brainstorm and collaborate.

  • You master both the Dutch and English language (written and spoken) and are a strong empathic communicator

  • You take initiative and are full of ideas.
