After Italy, Belgium, the UK and the Netherlands, this year we will also conquer France and Germany. Therefore, we are looking for a Business Developer Germany to grow the number of listings (motorhomes) and bookings on the Goboony platform in Germany. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who can't wait to take on all the challenges in our bizarre growth phase. Someone who is able to maintain the growth rate of 100% in supply as we’ve had in The Netherlands.

This could be your day

You start the day with a stand-up with your colleagues, to briefly look back at yesterday’s successes and look ahead of your goals for the day. Probably you onboarded a few advertisers on our platform and closed a partnership for which you will collect extra leads. Together with the Country Manager, you discuss what you will tackle next. You create a plan together, what conditions will this partnership be under? How will we collect leads? How are we going to get these leads converted in an efficient and sustainable way to grow the business in Germany? You divide the different actions together and will make it a success. Together with the help of colleagues from the marketing team and business developers of the other countries. Probably you will have a look at your data too. Are things converting well? Are the changes we implemented working out the way we wanted? A quick email check-in between, there are maybe a few listings that need to be prepared and onboarded! And what is next? Maybe a webinar tonight? That is on you to fill in!


Your responsibilities

As Business Developer at Goboony, you are responsible for the growth of the supply and bookings in your market. You are able to develop the business by finding new opportunities and optimising our process where possible. Furthermore you actively work together with the business development team from the other markets on various project to improve the supply quality. Your initiatives will have a direct impact on the supply of your market:

  • Investigate ways to improve the conversion from each step in the funnel

  • Assist advertisers with the onboarding process

  • Take care of the b2b sales process and act as an account manager for the rental businesses in your market

  • Increase the supply of motorhomes in your market

  • Set up new partnerships and generate new leads to increase supply and bookings on the platform

  • Work on various projects with the entire bizdev team in order to improve revenue per listing and supply quality

  • Are critical for the existing processes and always looking for ways to improve and make the process more efficient

  • Therefore, you are the best in contacting prospects to optimise the conversion of leads.
  • You continuously explore new opportunities and turn them into clear, ambitious goals.
  • Your greatest goal is to increase our authority within the motorhome industry.
  • You supervise and improve the supply quality on a daily basis.
  • You are native German, but also have good communication skills in English.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and people describe you as 'down to earth'.
