What does the role look like?

We are looking for a Customer Support Intern (Italian speaking) to join our Italian country team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic European digital platform, providing excellent customer support to Italian-speaking users via phone, email, and chat. You will also handle user requests and complaints while contributing to optimizing the conversion rate to support marketing and sales efforts in Italy.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Assist Italian users by providing outstanding customer support and service consultation via email and phone.

  • Ensure smooth rental departures by handling document checks, user follow-ups, and other related tasks.

  • Communicate fluently in English with colleagues across different countries, especially for cross-border bookings.

  • Manage user feedback, including moderation and validation of reviews.

  • Handle and follow up on claims during and after rentals.

  • Act as a mediator between users and liaise with our insurance partner.

  • Implement targeted actions to improve conversion rates.

  • Support the development of our business by contributing to various company initiatives.

You can work from one of our offices in Bordeaux (France), Utrecht (Netherlands), or fully remote. Please note that Saturday availability is required.

  • Fluent in Italian with a good level of English.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Patient, empathetic, and service-oriented.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Previous customer service or support experience is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Comfortable working remotely and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of the travel or tourism industry is a plus.

Important: you're based in and eligible to work in the Netherlands or France. These are the countries in which we can employ people. We are not able to sponsor visas at the moment.
